L&L Kilns

JUPITER KILNS: Whether you order a manual or automatic control, every Jupiter kiln is multi-zoned. Each 9" section (and optional powered bottom) has its own separate contactor or manual infinite switch. In the case of the four or five section automatic kilns the middle sections operate together as one zone. For automatic kilns the optional powered bottom is tied into the bottom zone. However, the DynaTrol allows you to adjust how much of the bottom's power is used (from 10% to 100%).

EASY-FIRE KILNS: The first kiln engineered to be easy. Spend your time with your students, customers or your art - not your kiln. L&L's simple-to-use yet powerful computer control makes firing our kiln as simple as pushing five buttons, yet this control has the power to grow with you. Our "Easy-Open, Easy-Load" spring hinge makes loading easy. Why load your kiln with a 50 pound lid hanging over your head?

Jupiter The L&L JD18 at 2.6 cubic feet is perfect for a small art department or for occasional use. The LOW FIRE kiln comes with 2-1/2 inch brick and two 8 gauge thermocouples. L&L Liberty-Belle The L&L Liberty-Belle is the ideal kiln for home and studio use. This sectional kiln is compact, easy to move and set up, with a a serious sized interior of 2.5 cubic feet. This L&L has 3 inch brick, with a cone 10 firing capacity. The kiln when empty can reach cone 10 in about 2 hours and use about 12.5 KWH (average cost about $1.00 @ 8 cents per KWH).
